Selection Process

India’s Most Admired Companies Award achievement is a distinctive opportunity for the companies which have set new standards of Business Excellence. Whether you are a large organization or a small business we strive to identify the companies which have laid a foundation of continuous economic & societal development and are working hard to achieve their vision.

How it Works?

In order to ensure that the deserving companies do not fall behind to get the honor & admiration for their humble contribution to the Indian economy, we have curated the following criteria to help your business become a part of India’s Most Admired Companies Awards:

Stage 1 (Nomination):

The process starts with the receipt of the nomination applications on our website. The companies either self-nominate or are nominated by a third party/associate to their business who thinks that the business they are nominating deserves the recognition and has the capability to win.
(The nomination criteria and the form can be viewed under Nomination section).

Stage 2 (Initial Screening):

Our market research team conducts the initial screening of the application received. The companies which have provided appropriate responses and details as required in the nomination form are shortlisted for the further scrutiny and are allotted a specific category as per their industry.

Stage 3 (Evaluation):

The company which qualifies initial screening is evaluated by the research team upon various parameters such as visionary leadership, sustainable business practice, corporate social responsibility, workplace culture, innovation, employee retention, goodwill, financial soundness, customer satisfaction, quality of management, products & services, etc.
The companies are assessed and marked upon these parameters individually on a scale of 1-10 (whichever applicable to a particular company as per the industry segment and the size of business) in accordance with the information gathered via nomination form and also through a secondary research conducted by the market research team.
The average score of all the parameters is the Research Team Overall Rating for a company.

Stage 4 (Jury Scoring):

The evaluated companies by the team are further reviewed and rated by a panel of experienced jury members from various industries. (The jury consists of top renowned leaders from areas such as Business, Finance, Advertising & Media, including an international expert advisor). These experts rate these companies on a scale of 1-10.

Stage 5 (Final Stage):

The cumulative scoring of the IBC research team and the expert jury panel is taken into consideration to finalize the winners of India’s Most Admired Companies Awards.
(Note: The cumulative rating of a company should be at least 7.5 points to be qualified as a winner. The final decision regarding selection and disqualification of the participants lies with the jury and the management committee of IBC).
